Product information
    • Efficient transfection of mRNA in a variety of cells
    • Quick and easy protocol
    • Low toxicity
    • Serum compatible
    • Fully synthetic transfection reagent
    • RNase-free production

SAINT-mRNA transfection reagent is a new, proprietary formulation that forms positively charged complexes with mRNA and enables highly efficient delivery of mRNA into a variety of mammalian cell lines. Low amounts of mRNA are required for efficient and transient expression of target proteins within hours following transfection up to several days. Using optimized conditions, efficiencies between 90-100% can be achieved in standard cell lines such as CHO-K1 and 293 cells. The transfection procedure using SAINT-mRNA is easy: just mix the reagent with your mRNA in sterile PBS, incubate for 5-10 minutes, and layer the complexes onto your cells in medium with or without serum. 1 ml SAINT-mRNA transfection reagent is sufficient for up to 1000 transfections in 96-well plates.

Shelf life of the product

SAINT-mRNA, stored at 4°-7°C, is stable for at least one year after opening.

Literature

SAINT-mRNA is a newly formulated transfection agent, based on SAINT-RED and optimized for large mRNA molecules. SAINT-Red has been used extensively for RNA transfections in many studies (see product description and below reference for illustration). New publications employing SAINT-mRNA will be added here and in our cell line database once they become publicly available.
